The EV Star REEFERX is designed to meet the needs of mid to last mile refrigerated delivery and catering applications. The refrigerated trucks in class 4' one interior wall structure, and higher insulation than conventional trucks, allows for seamless sanitation and better temperature control. GreenPower has partnered with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system, which will allow fleets to easily change to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star can also be wirelessly charging up to 75 kW. We were capable of testing the EV9 on a local highway for several hours, and found it easy to drive, and comfortable to drive long distances.
